A Sermon: "I Came to Cast Fire upon the Earth"

A few weeks ago I was asked to preach my first sermon in an ELCA congregation, Christ Lutheran Church, in Valparaiso, which happens to be the congregation to which my family and I belong. The text was Luke 12.49-53. That morning several thunderstorms rumbled through town. Lightening came close to striking the church building. (Not sure what to make of all that!)
